Eunan McKinney is a graduate of UCD, and DIT, who entered the design industry as a commercial artist in 1985. In 1990, he established a design communications consultancy – Source - and was Managing Director until 2005. Since selling the company in 2005 and, after a period as a retained Consultant, he has operated as an independent Business Consultant.
In 2010 he was appointed to the Crafts Council of Ireland Mentor Panel.
With over twenty years of senior experience in brand development and management, he has a proven reputation in the arena of business communications, planning and strategy, having advised a number of Ireland’s leading state-sponsored and publicly quoted companies. Throughout his career he has also worked closely with range of SMEs from professional services firms to the creative industries.
He was a founder of Design Business Ireland (formerly GDBA) and served as Chair, 2000-2004, sat on Council of the Institute of Designers in Ireland, 2003-05, and as a professional member of Design Management Institute, USA.
